Fiber optic converters can be used to adapt different cabling within a LAN to create a functional network. Whether for converting fiber optics to a classic twisted pair network with a Mini-GBIC or for converting fiber optics to another fiber optic network with two Mini-GBICs. The ROLINE GigaBit converter offers both options.The ROLINE Gigabit Converter converts a Gigabit Ethernet TP port to fiber optic or a fiber optic port to a second fiber optic port. The fiber optic connections can be freely selected using a Mini-GBIC module. Mini-GBIC modules are available for SX/LC (21.14.3500) and LX/LC (21.14.3501: 10km, 21.14.3502: 20km).
