Not all monitors have good speakers. With the extractor you can redirect the audio signals via S/PDIF (optical) or analog via 3.5mm ports on a speaker system, the pure image signal goes to the screen.

The 4K HDMI Audio Extractor allows you to extract audio signals up to 192 kHz without distortion from the HDMI signal and send them to your own system.
The converter box has an optical S/PDIF socket and a 3.5 mm jack output for connecting to a stereo, 2.1 speaker system. The extractor is suitable for all devices that send audio data via an HDMI output: Apple TV, DVD players and Blu-ray players, but also consoles such as Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
After splitting, the extractor sends the pure image signal to the TV and supports resolutions up to 4K and 3D effects. The video signal is not affected.
